Kay Arthur, what a woman of the Lord. Today was my Wednesday Bible Study at Church. We have been going through a series called "Annointed, Transformed, Redeemed; a Study of the Life of David." I love it. These women know God, His Word, and love him deeply, and want us to do the same. I so respect them and have found their teaching to be very meaningful and refreshing.
Priscilla opened our first two studies.Oh how wish I could replicate how passionately she lifted up who God is. She had a long list of his attributes that was very meaningful. She spoke about David's life particularly when he had been annointed to be king 22 years before he was king of Israel.
Beth more did the second two sessions using David's life to teach about getting past our devastation with God. Man, does she know his word.
Kay Arthur is giving the last two sessions. From a wheel chair she preached it today. Holding up her big worn bible, asking us if we had time for TV, novels, even her books, but not the bible. It was a very meaningful message regarding David at crossroads when he got Uriah's wife pregnant and then had him killed.
I am loving my bible study!

Kay Arthur is a favorite of my mom and I've just started to get to know her. I love her focus on who God is - his character. Sounds like you've got some great opportunities.
