Random post

Anna at our new pediatrician, Dr. Thompson.

A couple of rainbows.

An evening bike ride down to the Marsh.

We pass this old school house on the way.

A man who just put his boat in. When my friend Tami was here, a gentleman was putting his boat in the water and asked us if we were "doin' good this evenin'." We said we were and asked how he was doing. He replied, "better than I deserve." We asked him where he got that phrase. He said his grandfather always said it and "it dudn't mean yer doin' very good." We laughed.

A house we pass on the way to the marsh.

Whitefield School Night at Chic-fil-a!

Anna with Anna, one of the only two other girls in her class, and Anna's little sister Lilly.

The three second grade girls and Lilly.

Anna and her teacher.

A Visit from Nanny and Poppop and the Kaines!

Some New Friends!

This is Caroline. She is one of the only 2 other little girls in Anna's class of six total.

Harrison, Caroline's 3 1/2 year old brother.

Anna Belle, Caroline's one year old sister.

The Three Amigos!

We enjoy letting them swim in the bath tub.

This is the dirt I was raking when I found turtle number 3 buried in the dirt. They are aquatic turtles and this one was also found in dry dirt, kind of hibernating. The precious thing is, I really did want to go into that store and buy 3!

Here are all three, I think we decided to go with Shach, Rach, and Benny. For Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego. If we should happen to find a fourth, which is unlikely, we have cleaned out all our flower beds at this point, they will be named after the 4 Boxcar children at Anna'a request.

Homework time Anna!

Two is always better than one!

I found another turtle while raking some dirt in preparing an area of our lawn for sod. He was the only one there, but he was alive!

He is surprisingly smaller than our first. We are still working on names. Aren't they cute?

By the way, I got a few (hundred) ant bites while doing the yard work :)

The drive to the school.

Driving. . .

Still driving. . .

Finally there! Six miles of nothing but grass and trees! Very different.
