Gotta Start (Blogging) Somewhere

So if a picture is worth a thousand words, then I shouldn't have to write much. Except for the fact that there is a lot to tell. We have just made a major change in our lives and life couldn't be more different here in Georgia than it was in Maryland. But if I keep waiting until I have it all written well, this blog is never going to get done, so here goes nothin' (or as much as I can squeeze in between life with three young kids).

We play in the rain a lot here, I am not sure why, we never did this in Maryland.

We also play in the pool and ride bikes on our street a lot.

Karl found a turtle in the field next to our house and we kept him! The kids call him Turtle, but I call him Slider.

School started on August 13th. Anna in second grade and Sarah in Pre-K. Both girls love their teachers, and we do too!

Yay! I'm so excited to see & read updates on your life in GA. Thanks for doing this. (by the way, my life blog is here: http://www.xanga.com/DoReMi_D The one that links is just my recipe blog - rather boring!

Hey!! I can't wait to hear more Walmart stories. :) I'm thrilled you're going to give blogging a go!

Also, Josh is very happy to hear about Slider, the turtle.

Remember, everyday stuff makes great blog entries for friends eager to hear any news of life on St.Simons Island.

Welcome to the blogosphere! I am SHOCKED at how big the kids are!! Are you sure they aren't ringers or something? I mean I know I didn't see you for lunch all last year as I wrote the book, but can kids change that much so soon??

Stunned,

Carolyn
